WHAT IS QIGONG?
Qigong is an ancient practice utilised by the Chinese for over 5,000 years. It combines meditative practices and a system or series of physical movements and is the basic exercise system within Chinese Medicine. Qigong exercises are designed to help you preserve your Jing energy (deep foundational reserves in the body) and to strengthen the balance and flow of Qi (chi) the chinese term for life energy. It is also used to enlighten your Shen (the spiritual element of a person’s psyche). The practices are particularly effective for supporting the immune system.
Chinese medicine uses Qigong exercises to maintain health, prevent illness and to extend longevity. It is particularly powerful for maintaining and restoring harmony in the organ systems and energy channels of the body. Each technique opens new neural pathways to the brain which eventually remain open.
Qigong assisted Nikii to heal from her diagnosed Chronic Fatigue and numerous autoimmune diseases.
Nikii and Jacqui have been practicing Qigong formally with a master for approximately 12 years and are currently at Master Level themselves.
